The movie received 7/10 on IMDB, 76% rotten tomatoes and 77% on Metacritic.  8 mile is focused on the protagonist B-Rabbit  trying to become a rapper so he can leave the so called “hood” and support his mother and little sister. However he B-Rabbit was struggling with stage confidence issues alongside financial and trust issues.  Over the duration of the movie everything was getting worse for B-Rabbit until it reached a point where he needed to lift himself and get the confidence to rap or else his rap career potential would die.  This film has recently become more popular due to Eminem recently becoming more relevant again. –Kareem Badawy
