Crazy Rich Asians


Crazy Rich Asians, directed by Jon M. Chu is a romantic comedy drama movie. The movie has received 7.5/10 on IMDB, 93% on Rotten tomatoes and 74% on Metacritic. This movie focuses on the protagonist, Rachel Chu, accompanying her boyfriend Nick Young to his best friend’s wedding in Singapore. In the first half of the movie, it slowly unwinds to Rachel how wealthy and famous her boyfriend is back in Singapore. However, as amazing as that is, she still has to overcome numerous obstacles such as the disapproving mother and judgemental societal norms. – Brendan See
